Hans Von Milla Just a thought: did the two school boards follow their own rules, their own charters, when they decided to cancel the Turkey Day Game? I was wondering, how did this happen before anyone noticed? Then I realized that the school boards didnt give any notice; they slipped this past the public without ever giving notice they intended to cancel the game. No time for public debate, no heads-up to the taxpayers. Question: is that legal, or is it a foul? I dont know the answer, and I know school boards retain solicitors to keep them out of hot water. But if you could get a couple of hours pro bono work from a lawyer who could determine whether the boards broke any rules by making the decision out of the public eye...you might be able to gig them on a technicality.
