Hanuman dhaara- This holy place is about 4 Km. to the east of Ramghat at the beginning of the Vindhyas. A stream of cool and clear water originating inside the mountain falls on the idol of Hanuman Ji and loses itself in a kund below. It is a popular belief that Hanuman Ji came here to cool down the heat after burning lanka .This place is situated on a hillock 20 kms from Chitrakut. When Hanumanjee requests Lord Rama to reduce the burning heat in his body caused due to Lanka dahanam, Lord Rama advises Hanuman to reach this place. Rama aimed an arrow and from nowhere water sprouted out and started pouring on Hanuman. The source and the end of the water is not known. Jai Hanuman Jai Jai Shri Ram
