Happ, who has abandoned his appeals and said he is ready to die, - TopicsExpress

Happ, who has abandoned his appeals and said he is ready to die, was condemned for the 1986 abduction, rape and murder of Angie Crowley, whose body was found on a canal bank near Crystal River.>> Did this young lady have a choice about the manner in which she would die? Did she have a say in how or when? The story also states..... There is substantial risk of midazolam not working completely, violating the Eighth Amendments prohibition of cruel and unusual punishment by subjecting the condemned to a painful paralysis and fatal heart seizure over several minutes.>> So because this poor guy may or may not (nobody is for sure) suffer for a mere two minutes they are holding up his death? How long did this young lady suffer? You can bet it was longer than two minutes, the fear in her heart of being abducted, then raped and ultimately murdered in a manner they did not say and then dumped like trash near a canal. Is this not cruel and unusual punishment? I have no remorse or guilt if this monster suffers for a couple of minutes, he has spent more time in prison than the girl he killed lived on earth. What are a few minutes of pain (again maybe, maybe not) compared to the amount of time the girl he murdered suffered by his hands, not to mention the girls family and the pain and suffering they have endured. Excuse me for sounding cold but I have no remorse for this murderer, let him suffer, use a rusty old needle and dont clear the air bubbles out of the needle, he will be dead in a few minutes anyway, so he suffers (again maybe) for a few minutes, I am willing to take that chance, I have no pity for him....
