Senator Ehigie Uzamere has made me proud: The petition on the Benin Electricity Distribution Company and the Nigerian Electricity Regulatory Commission on the fraudulent Fixed Charge by the duo was read on the floor of the senate by the distinguish Senator Ehigie Uzamere, some members of the Edo State Civil Society Organizations led by Comrade Austin Osakue had engaged members of the Federal Houses of Assembly in Abuja to present to the senate and the house of representatives a petition on the monthly fixed charge imposed by BEDCon behalf of Edo State Civil Society Organizations. This is a follow up of the protests by the Edo State Civil Society Organizations that lasted for 10 days. Uzamere had demonstrated that he feels the pains of the people, we are expecting public hearing on the matter soonest. Kudos to all true comrades that have been on ground in taking this struggle thus far. We shall overcome today.......
