Happening at my house this evening.... Doorbell rings, doggie barks, I go to door...A man is standing on my porch (very cute I might add) and says. Hi mam (oh and he had this Okie accent, so I let him talk) I am so and so from something or other meat company, just happen to be in your neighborhood, yadda da yadda, da yadda,.. Since the flooding in DEE troit today we werent able to make all our deliveries so we have extra meat.. Im sure you need some right? Im shaking my head and said no, cant say as we do (in MY Okie accent, just couldnt help myself) He said, Oh sure you can always use extra meat in your freezer no, we dont need any for our freezer he said You dont? why not? Me: because in order to put meet in your freezer you first have to kill an animal, we dont kill animals, we rescue them.. Then he said Now yall are gonna like this, he said, Oh you dont eat meat? We have pork too. I gave him the look and said. and said ummmm thank you for stopping but we dont usually eat meat OR PORK I couldnt help but giggle at that...
