Happily all my classes are over subscribed! First day of teaching at the Swannanoa Gathering is completed: the morning included slide guitar and Mississippi John Hurt classes, the afternoon on Robert Johnsons standard tuning and dropped-D pieces. Everyone SEEMED happy, if all the chairs are full again tomorrow, Ill trust the compliment of their presence. Half the guitar staff are performing tonight; half on Thursday. Songwriters on Wednesday. Im very happy to be in this musical community again.
