Happiness is burying a bone. Nutmeg, who is very soon going to be available for adoption, is happy. Today on her first outing without boots on (her feet are almost totally healed!) she found a bone. After parading her prize around for her foster dad to see for about 20 minutes she decided on a spot in the corner of the garden to bury her treasure. Shes had a lengthy recovery and was very excited to get out and explore. Thanks to Dr. Byrds patient care and Ruffwear Performance Dog Gears support of Nutmeg through providing her with boots, jackets, collars, and harnesses she is healing beautifully with new fur growing on her feet.
