Happpy Nurses week to all my fellow hardworking nurses who chose this crazy field of always being short-staffed, where multi-tasking literally means life or death, where our hands are constantly dry from over-handwashing and our fingers have been in places we never dreamed imaginable, where we probably expanded our bladder to the greatest extent it can humanly hold for 12 hours, and where we can literally challenge and win a debate over what Wikipedia, WebMD, and all those medical websites diagnosed you with, but most of all, where at the end of the day, we MAY get ONE thank you that makes it all worth it! May your week be free of overbearing family members, code browns, blues, pinks, and any other color, as well as any bodily fluids that may spray/squirt on you and your $50 scrubs and $150 clogs this week!
