Happy 10th Birthday to my sweet and sassy little Kellie. God truly blessed me as your mom. I think back to this time 10 years ago as they prepared to transport Kellie to the NICU in Macon and leave me behind in Dublin, it went from being one of the happiest days of my life to being the worst, not knowing if I would ever see my baby girl alive again. Throughout the next several weeks, I could not hold, touch, or talk to Kellie. However, there was comfort in knowing that God the Father was holding her in his great big hands and speaking his peace and love to her. There were many times that the doctors didnt think she would make it and tried to prepare us for the worst but God had other plans, He worked a miracle in her life and breathed air into those lungs and give her the breath of life to come off of the oscillator. Doctors said it was nothing short of a miracle because her lungs should not have worked. Thank you God for the gift of life and motherhood. Thank you that you are always on time. I am blessed!
