Happy 2015 FB Friends and Family ! This has been an awesome year celebrating a new place and releasing a lot of personal struggle which at some point had left us without a roof over our heads and a lot of backs turned but we made it and have found out who our true friends are that support us when times are tough and are not just around when the champagne is flowing. For that we are so grateful. It has also been a test in strength in building and growing successful businesses. Our Local Dance Companies Kizomba Hollywood, Kizomba TV and our International Dance Company Kizomba All-Stars which has lead us on a path of creating the United States first all female lead Kizomba event and supporting women in Kizomba, be it instructors and DJs to shine light on what we can accomplish in the magical world of Kizomba Dance. We are grateful to our Brother Nii Ashitei Tetteh for not only housing us when times were rough but also really being a strong player and business partner to create this dream we all possess. Thank you Freedom Aziza, Dámaris Ortiz and Amber Perkins for truly Sticking with us, even when things get challenging. Because of all your efforts, we will all make History ! Also thank you to the people of our local Kizomba community who take the time to support our dreams,efforts and events as we do yours. Another amazing part of 2014 is the journey of learning our African Ancestry. We are now officially genetically related to the people of a Palop country which is Guinea-Bissau and have roots to the people of Sierra Leone and the people of Senegal on our Maternal side. Our journey to learn our Ancestry still continues as does our journey with our businesses, life, struggle, joy, and relationships. Cheers to 2015 ! May it be our best yet !
