Happy 2015 French Run Families and Friends! We hope everyone is off to a great new year and we are looking forward to all kinds of wonderful planned activities to do with our SOARING FIREBIRDS as soon as we return! Oops, dont forget Mr. Hardys Principal Homework is due Wednesday, January 7th. He is wondering which class or grade level will have EVERYONE participating. I think it will be our 4th graders, the leaders of our school!!!! Pictured are some more learning activities our Firebirds participated in before Winter Break. -In Mrs. Cramers class they were reading the Polar Express and then going to watch the movie to compare and contrast the two. -Mr. Hardy read Dr. Seuss How The Grinch Stole Christmas to some first graders in his Grinch PJs! -Our 4th graders used Legos to create toys in teams and then the team had to develope a marketing plan and presentation to sell their created toy. -The kindergartens were talking about the different holidays that are celebrated during this time of year and they discovered how they all give gifts and I caught them making gifts for their love ones. We were busy learners in 2014 and I know our amazing teachers have some fantastic activities planned for 2015! FELIX THE FIREBIRD
