Happy 237th Birthday America! Maybe I am just a hopeless optimist, but I am convinced that America will survive the problems we see today..... changed, but still the United States of America, not the United Corporations of America! As far as our outdoor kitchen goes, the project is in a holding pattern until I get some big guys to help me move one 400+lb. countertop and place it on the forms. Hopefully over the weekend we can get it placed. Our weather here has cooled and it almost seems that the monsoonal flow has arrived a month early.... can you say global warming? I knew you could! We heard an interview with a Government researcher who confirmed that the North Atlantic Current has slowed dramatically due to the influx of melting ice from "somewhere" (Greenland) dumping into the Atlantic. This would bring our monsoon early, cause heavy rain in the SE and cool western Europe. How many more changes need occur before THE PEOPLE force the changes we need to survive????? But maybe too many of THE PEOPLE are just waiting for some Bronze Age god to magically save us like it did during the plague, the Holocaust and 9/11/01!
