Happy 25th to Michal Moore ! (Corrected) 25 years ago tonight Roger & Me was shown on a movie screen for the first time. It was in the Masons Hall at the Telluride Film Festival. I had no idea what was about to happen. To sum it up, when the theater went dark, I had one life. When the lights came up, that life was gone and I was then blessed with another. The crowd went nuts, the festival had to add 5 or 6 additional screenings, within 24 hours a bidding war amongst the studios began -- but the guy GM sent to watch it, in spite of all the frenzy that he witnessed, told the brass back in Detroit that there was nothing to worry about - Its just a documentary.
