Happy 5th Birthday to my amazing, goofy Paz who brings so much joy into my life; your gentle presence and magic, muppet like charisma has and continues to relieve the pain of so many children, who are often the youngest and most vulnerable victims of domestic violence, as well as other horrific crimes! My beloved sister Phyllis who was so very ill five years ago, in her infinite wisdom was insistent I get Paz, because she knew his arrival would help heal the enormous pain I would experience when she could no longer be at my side. Phyllis, I know you are looking down from heaven, delighted that Paz is in my life. Phyllis, in many respects, Paz is the canine version of you in that he has an abundance of curly hair, the capacity to provide unconditional love and support, makes so many people laugh and is totally non-judgmental. So happy 5th birthday to my beautiful, silly, Paz!
