Happy 6month old my dearest son Just wanna submit the report for this 6month bf. I hope it can motivate by mommies out there. I gave birth my son on 26th July 2014. His still dont want to latch. I just dont know why. Nursery at hosp keep asking what if they spoon-fed my son with fm. Then what about my boobs? I have read all files in TBAN through out my pregnancy. The dos the donts yada yada. My bestfriend came to teach my how to latch but my son still dont want to. End up, we collect the colustrum using syring. And feed my son. That is the least i can do at that moment. Aunties keep asking me why u dont bf your kid. It brought me to tears. i keep pumping to ensure that my son still get precious drop even not in direct feed. As a result, it stressing me out. 1oz for 1 hour pumping for Gods sake! And I allowed my husband to bought fm. I dont know im just frustrated and pity to hear his crying over i-hate-your-boobs-mommy. This happened until 3 weeks. I keep latch him everytime he is sleepy or wake-up during midnight. And after 3 weeks of forcing him to do, Alhamdulillah he is a good latcher. Haha. Yes, every moment of bf is wonderful. Yes, every pain is totally worth it. The milk blister. The 2hours of latching just to maintain the supply are worth it. The bonding is just indescribable. Thank you Allah. Thank you husband for your encourage towards bf. Remind me to room-in baby every 2-hour. Bought healthy food for me. Sterilise the bottle and pump. The keyword is patience patience patience. bf journey is still long way to go...
