Happy 9th Birthday to my wonderful Vega. You are my dog of a lifetime. Every shitty day Ive ever had - youve done your best to say everything would be ok. Every walk, dawn, dusk or midnight...youve been by my side. Youve taught me more about being a good dog owner in nine years, than the twenty I had before you owned me. Youve taught me that being heard - doesnt mean I have to shout. Being understood isnt all about what I say, but more about how I say it. You might not care how I look without mascara but my body langauge, my demeanor & my tone of voice matters to you. Youve taught me to react less to things that wont hurt so much in a day or two & taught me the utter joy of throwing a tennis ball - LOTS. You took on (at the age of seven) a wonderfully bonkers puppy - you never snapped or growled - you simply sniffed it then looked at me saying its your problem now...& what an incredible big brother you are. Voök would never have become the best-puppy-in-the-world without you Vega! Your understanding remains unique in the multitude of commands you know & your expressions & head tilts make me smile from the inside on a daily basis. You are the smartest of all the dogs Ive ever been owned by & overall my big waggy dude - you are the most precious, most adored, most loved, best buddy & most cherished friend.
