Happy Anniversary Debbie! 39 years ago today the morning started out with some light rain, by lunch time the skies cleared, the sun was out and it was in the mid 50s - low 60s and we were off to St. Annes Anglican Church on Gladstone Avenue in Toronto. My best man was a smoker and was so nervous at the church, I spent more time getting him to chill out. The wedding went off without a hitch, except the Bride was a little late, I know that is accepted! After the vows, the wonderful KISS, and the photos we set out for Markham where the reception was. After dinner and the formalities we got changed at the motel down the road where the in-laws were staying, when we got there and unlocked the room the bed was filled with golf clubs! Did they really think we were going the spend some time in BED. We changed and returned to the reception, Deb said we are not leaving early...we are going to party with everyone till closing time. Shortly after 1am we jumped in he car and headed to the Inn On The Park where I arranged a penthouse suite for the night. (SENSORED)..In the morning we called both parents and dropped in at the Hiscotts and then off to Ocean Lakes in Myrtle Beach for our honeymoon. Thanks Deb for a wonderful 39 years of true friendship, devotion and care and the two children we conceived together, Kelly & Ryan who have grown up to be wonderful family oriented people who have blessed us with 4 grand children. I hope we can have many more years to be together and reflect back on all the great times we can have.......even in Diamonds International as we float around the world!
