Happy Anniversary gorgeous... heres one from the vault... we cannot be fractured Fissure They say that no one is irreparably broken They say that… it doesn’t matter what you’ve gone through or who you’ve experienced… you heal I don’t know that any of those poets, scientists or priests… have studied the affect that two truly joined souls have on one another You cannot fully heal if a piece of you is ripped out Every time I drive away A ripple of rips begin in my gut and attempt to work there way up into my heart but Stars step in They come down and fill the spaces between They hold the doubt and the separation like a cradled child They illuminate the night sky… when all that fear sets in A simple reminder that … if we look up long enough…. we’re looking in the same direction and connected by constellations neither of us or any genius in the world has fathomed They sparkle to a song that has been predestined…it is our song and it fills our ears and pours into all the holes, cuts and crevices that come or could come our way There is a certain amount of required interaction to do a proper dance The dance the stars do in your eyes The dance the flowers do with the wind The dance we do… The one that only we can see… the one we do when we speak, when we touch, when glance each other’s way… the one we do in the presence of others… the one we do when we’re alone…. the one we do when our solitude is more than we can bear…. hundreds of miles apart and still… we dance… because our interaction is simple simple being and hope There is no possibility of fissure There is nothing that can cause that crack that break… There is no disaster large enough There is no amount of distance that can dull the music we hear when we’re together I could hear it from across the universe I could sing the words again if I remembered nothing else I could do the steps even if I couldn’t walk I could take you in my arms and lead you… even if the whole world was burning down around us We cannot be fractured ©Sarah Frances Moran
