Happy BEAUTIFUL Monday, Friends of Windsor Breads!! Despite the fact that two of my three early-morning staff members had to call in sick this morning, Kathy and I are kicking butt in the bakery today!! Anthony made bitty bud banana breads and muffins early this morning (best banana bread recipe ever!! named after our younger son, Peter - who is my itty bitty bud!, because he found the recipe in his Highlights magazine when he was two :) as well as the regular morning stuff (our top-selling bran muffins, death by chocolate muffins, croissants, turnovers, cinnamon rolls and scones). We had a Badger themed chocolate chip cookie cake ordered for a third-graders birthday treat and next I need to work on a coffeecake and peanut butter chocolate chip cookie order. Phew! I hope to leave the building by 2 pm today (to enjoy our last warm day this fall :) and for my patient soup fans, within a week we will be serving our fabulous soups again! The scones looked especially luscious this morning so I had to photograph them to show off our two fallish scones....Pumpkin Chocolate Chip and Anthonys newest flavor, Caramel Apple - yum, yum, yum!! Come in and try one of our goodies soon!
