Happy Birthday Babe: Twenty years ago today I was as proud as punch to introduce my baby girl to the world, and now pretty soon shell be doing the same herself. Like every mother I have countless wonderful memories over the years but Id be writing for an eternity if I were to share them all with you, so, Ill let you have a sneaky peak at just a few. Miss Morrissey has always joked that Ive never kept enough momentos from her childhood, well, here are two that I did keep and they still make me chuckle to this day. They come in the form of two notes, one written at the innocent age of nine and the other at the audacious age of 15. The first was when we lived in Belfast, when she decided that she was leaving home. The note said it was all for the best, she didnt know where she was going but wished me well in all I achieved aaaaah. The second was in Dublin, when the bold Haley left me a note asking to put on the emersion before I left work, and then really matter of fact asked if I would leave a tenner as all of the girls were going drinking!!! I did see the funny side of it but wanted to kill her at the same time lol. Anyway, you said I didnt keep much from your childhood, I kept you didnt I.....
