Happy Birthday Carl Sagan. Along with Patrick Moore, they both opened my mind to the wonders and beauty of the Cosmos. Where do we come from? why are we here? Carl gave us many answers and posed many questions too. His ability to make ordinary people understand the complexity of our beautiful, infinite universe was truly amazing. As I approach old age I do so with a comforting knowledge of my place in the cosmos. An understanding denied to my Father and Grandfathers. Thank you Carl and your particular share of Stardust has been sprinkled over us all.
