Happy Birthday Evan Spotloe! I am so proud of you and I cant believe that today you are 15. It seems like yesterday that you stubbornly refused to call your dad dad but called him Gah for years...you even had your little sister calling him that when she learned how to talk!! You thought you had to wear a hat everywhere. I remember in preschool trying to talk you out of wearing that coon skin hat but you were so determined to wear it. You stood outside waiting for the bus by yourself ( early of course some things never change!!) And everyone drove by slow and a couple people had to back up and look at you and you never cared!! I later got a note from the teacher thanking me for letting you be an yourself. And you definitely are that!! You also stubbornly refused to ride a bike until I made you at the age of 6 try every day (that was a long summer!)I almost thought you liked to see me running along beside you out of breath and remember what your dad did?? We have teased you for years about being old before your time but really you are responsible. You go to bed and get up on time, have all your homework done, chores done, papers signed all without being told and I dont think I have ever got a call from school that you forgot something!! You are a very talented young man, am very proud that you have got all As your first year of High School and I love to hear you play your violin. I love you Evan and I hope you are having a good time golfing today with your dad and brother!!
