(born Michael Willy Schenker - January 1955 -Hannover, Germany) Guitarist, songwriter: Scorpions (1969-73 & 1978-79), -U-F-O- (1973-78, 1993-95 & 2000), Michael Schenker Group (M.S.G.), solo. His ferocious yet melodic fluid playing was breath of fresh air when he hit the world stage with UFO in 1974. Not to mention the his iconic image (blonde good looks with a Flying V guitar). His career has had several ups n downs due to poor career choices and personal demons. Yet, he has retained his Guitar God status and has been recording and touring constantly since 2008. His demons behind him.
