Happy Birthday Mama Wishing Mama, a Happy Birthday. I miss her so much, in so many ways. Shes been in Heaven, more than twenty years. I miss her so much, and Ive shed many tears. She was the youngest child, of a share cropping man. She learned at an early age, how to live off the land. She was a survivor, that was for sure. She worked hard, went without, and learned to endure. She always put her children first. She gave us the best, while she took the worst. She taught us to give a days work, for a days pay. Take only what is yours, shed always say. Everyone was welcome, at our dinner table. She fed lots more folks, than she really was able. Theres plenty to go around, shed always say. Then shed set another plate, and the company would stay. She didnt complain, about her lot in life. She never seemed sorry, of being a farmers wife. She took care of her children, kept us fed and warm. We always felt safe, sheltered in Mamas arms. When God chose our Mother, we sure were blessed. He could have given us anyone, but He gave us the best. Sending you kisses Mama, and all of my love. Happy Birthday, God Bless You, in Heaven above.
