💗Happy Birthday Meg...I ran in the village instead of on the trail tonite for safety...I found myself on my old street, stopped in front of my old apartment, this is where I was living when my running journey began 3 yrs ago. I remember that first run, made it to the end of the block and stopped...theres no way I can do this for 3.1 miles the voice in my head screamed. 3 yrs, and even a 26.2 miler later, that voice is silenced. Tonite, I stopped at the end of that block again and found a pink ribbon tied on the tree. Romeo was decorated on Wednesday to show support for April Millsap, her funeral was today. I took my headphones off and ran the rest of the way listening to the sound of my breathing & footsteps. Thanking God for life, my health, my family & friends...and this amazing group. A tragedy may have brought us together but its triumphs that keep us connected. Love & peace to everyone 💗😊
