Happy Birthday Mom! Brenda Clark keeps on beating the odds. She has survived a brain tumor (thrice), had her entire face removed (thrice), she lost her sense of smell (which actually helps sometimes when shes around me), she has lost both of her parents, been through the lifetime limit of radiation, completed proton radiation, and she is still sharp as ever and one of the smartest, quickest, most capable people I know. Mom was a cheerleader for IU basketball, including when they went undefeated in 1976. She was a nurse and was elected to the board of directors at Riverview Hospital. If you really know her, youll know shes one of the most generous people who ever lived, but youll also know, shes not to be messed with. I have seen her scare and silence many people with her quick wit and I dont take any shit from anyone, attitude. She has gone toe to toe with plenty of men and women both and I would honestly say shes the most fearless person I have ever been around. Her ability to put someone in their place is absolutely legendary. Still, generosity is her prevailing characteristic and she has taken care of so many people that nobody has any clue about because she simply asks for no acknowledgement and nothing in return. She is a ridiculously hard working person, and more often than not, the work shes doing is either someone elses work, or her efforts are simply just to help someone else with no benefit to her self. If you do right by her, youll be shocked at how far she will go to help you. Happy birthday momma, youre truly a one of a kind, tremendous person.
