Happy Birthday and RIP, Frank Zappa!! The rock, experimental and classical music and performance art legend was born 74 years ago Sunday. While Zappas musical career was still in its infancy, he worked in advertising, and while his professional involvement with advertising was short-lived, its influences permeated his music throughout his lifetime. Zappa was incredibly prolific, releasing 61 albums of both rock and classical music during his lifetime. Since his death in 1993, another 38 albums of his material have been released, as well as 13 compilations.
