Happy Birthday to beloved, awesome friend Elizabeth Asher!!!!, here with life partner John Asher. Many in our community are aware that Rescue Bank, founded by Elizabeth and John, is now merged with Greater Good.org but may not yet appreciate what a huge merger this is. Greater Good ( GreaterGood.org/ )partners with and funds leading nonprofit organizations (141 when Forbes published “How to Fund 141 Nonprofits At Once ((August 2014) and was then in the process of merging with long-time partner “Rescue Bank) around the world “in order to alleviate poverty and hunger, promote peace, address cancer and other widespread health problems, foster literacy and provide education, preserve vital habitats in peril, and provide protection and care to vulnerable animals.”
