Happy Birthday to composer Steve Dobrogosz! Born in the US, he trained as a classical pianist. After moving to Stockholm he became part of Scandinavias jazz scene as both pianist and composer. His first major choral work Mass (1992) has been performed in 40 countries. Here is the Kyrie from his ‘Mass’ in a live performance by the SINGS choir, strings from the Tokyo Philharmonic, conductor Kyota Kobayashi, and the composer at the piano!
