Happy Birthday to my beautiful Mary! Born in a snowstorm three days early. (She was supposed to be a scheduled C-section on the 8th) and when I showed up around 6:00pm in labor. The nurse said no one was available to do an unscheduled C-section, she said gruffly; Why cant you have this naturally? Said I; I dunno, maybe cause its my fourth C-section? But, what the hell, lets go for it! I got some push in me! Nurse some how finds Doctor Durcan after much worry and wait. Dr. Durcan enters my room with his imitable Irish lilt and wit to match; Id only brave a storm like this for an Irish lass. (Says I--a little uncomfortable and not more than a bit relieved). Says I Hmmmm, a little less talking and little more cuttin. Says Durcan; Im gonna sew the mouth shut when Im done. Says Jason; Im okay with that. Happy Birthday MARY!!!!!!!!! (She got her gently used I-pod) :)
