Happy Birthday to two of the amazing men in my life! My daddy & Jackson! I remember like it was yesterday. I had been hurting a little for about a week. By Friday the 24th I was really not feeling good at all but I had plans to have Chinese with my co-worker. There was no way my prego self was missing that! LOL After lunch I went home sick, but this kiddo could not come yet because I was GOING to have him on my daddy’s birthday! That night we took my dad out to Logan’s for his birthday. I had to sneak & time my contraction at Logan because I didn’t want John freaking out! They were about a minute a part, but like I said no way is he coming a day before my daddy’s birthday! I made it home & told John I was going to bed. I was woke by the worst contraction yet. As I set up to look at the clock my water broke! It was Midnight! I made it! I called the doctor & called my mom. Now to on to John… he had fallen to sleep watching TV in the living room. I told him it was time! He thought I was kidding. I said we have to leave now my water has already broken. He was like a chicken with his head cut off. He had me rolling! He tried so hard to be sweet to me & I was good with it as long as I wasn’t having a contraction. If I was then I just wanted him to keep himself away from me, not move, not talk & only breathe when he just had to. My mom let him know that it would probably be a good idea for him to sit down beside her. Then they decided it would be a good idea to start laughing that is until I let them know I would hurt them both! All that hurting was worth it at 7:06 when my baby boy arrived. He had a head full of jet black hair & looked like a mini John. He is in the double digits now! The big 10! Happy Birthday Jackson Hollis David Ludolf. I love you with all of my heart & soul.
