Happy Bless New Year ~ 2015 Everyone! I vividly recall as a child how my Dear MoMo Mouton would sweep out all of the little rooms of her home while I waited at the front door with a dust pan in hand on New Years Eve. I understood her broken English enough to know the reason for this tradition~ Sweeping out the old so the Good and Godly will be welcomed throughout the New Year. Then she would sprinkle Holy Water throughout the little rooms and pray in Creole as I followed closely behind her!
