Happy Childrens Day to all the children, whether at heart or in person! By now, most of you will have received this years present. It is a calendar again (no surprise) but with upgrades to the designs to make it even better than previous years. Higher budget, a different designer and printer. This is a project 1 year in the making where photos are sourced from during classes and tests during the past 1 year. 99% of the students are included somewhere in the 4 versions with the exceptions of those who joined recently, were absent at class photo time or did not have any nice recent individual photos. A photo calendar with your kids inside is still the most meaningful gift I can think of. No surprise there. It serve as a yearbook too in which you and the kids can look back and find themselves and their friends and see their growth over the years. Although I love to have as many individual photos of your kids as possible to make it even more special for them, there is a constraint to how many Mr January or Miss December that I can fit in. Priority for individual photos are given to those who miss class photos session followed by nicest photos, which tend to be taken during test when I use a better camera. (So pose and smile when teacher ask you to during tests!) Family photos and those of siblings are also featured in as a twist to this year calendar. I would also like to thank Shawna Yuen for volunteering to edit out a number of photo bombs with her skilled photoshop expertise and my cousin Elaine Yeo for helping source the printer. These help to make this gift a success. Lastly, some parents have been enquiring about additional copies. I have limited extra copies. If you like to have 1 more, please post a photo of the calendar on Facebook, tag me and indicate in the post that you will like another copy. The top 3 posts for each calendar version with the most likes by end October will get a copy each. Have fun today and yes there is still class today! :p
