Happy Christmas Eve! Happy day 6 post chemo! We did it! We survived and we made it!! Im learning as I go and thought Id share my toughest top 5 thus far...(drum roll please) 1. Love one another. No MATTER who they are, love them. Tell them. FORGIVE THEM and then move on. Get over it in wise guys!!! (In my 3 Stooges voice) 2. Dont judge anyone or anyones trial, story, or reason for ANYTHING they do unless you have literally walked 5,432 steps in their shoes. (And usually by step 2, youll notice that the shoes are too tight, to big and leaving you blisters.) 3. Everyone has a story. Sitting at a cancer center being the youngest, sickest and most DEHYDRATED kinda woke me up. Dont wait till your there to open your eyes guys. Life is too precious and really does go by fast. (Imagine me too sick to wear lipstick....!!!) Ive ran into people there that I never thought Id see there. (And I know they never expected to see me there either. We all have a story.) 4. Im not dying because I have numb finger tips and my skin is peeling off like a shedding snake... Its called LeeAnna, quit using your fingers to put Ladocain on your mouth sores and youre over doing it with the Clorox wipes ol wise one!!! Ya... Imagine me freaked out thinking Im dying because I forgot that I keep doing that!😜😜 5. Dont forget, YOURE NOT ALONE! Thats been my biggest one... Just because Im lying on my bed ALONE and I feel like Im suffering on my own, doesnt mean Im alone. I guess its kind a like Santa, just because you cant see him doesnt mean he isnt there🎅🎅. (Its been a LONG Christmas break, cant you tell!) Dont forget to pray!!!! Even when your alone in the dark and cant move o it of pain... Hes NEVER left me!!! I admit, theres times when I thought The Lord was sending me straight to His voicemail, and maybe He was for WHO KNOWS WHAT, but Hes never left my side AND never will. Imagine that one! (FYI...It makes it soooooo hard to go through anything with this attitude!!) I cant believe Im stopping at just 5! Merry Christmas and dont forget the real reason we are celebrating it! (And not just for the tamales either!)
