Happy Constitution Week September 17-23! Today on Constitution Day we are reminded of what took place in our young country on September 17, 1787, the Constitution for the united States was ratified. I hope youll take time this week either by yourself or with your family and friends to remind yourselves of your history and birthright. Its a great week to stand outside of your public library or post office and let people know that this week is Constitution week. I have a bumper sticker that says, Defend the Constitution Before It Is REPEALED! As Americans we might want to step it up a notch or two by committing to learning something new about our own history. Its also a great time to pledge an oath to God to protect and defend the Constitution for the united States. This way when you see a public official doing something that contradicts the Constitution you have a basis for making them aware of the problem and asking them to cease and desist. For this first day of celebration I suggest going back 11 years to the Declaration of Independence and JUST LISTEN TO THE WORDS.
