Happy Easter Y’all!!! I once was told of a story! In the streets of London, there was this Englishman who worked in a multinational corporation. Tired from work, he drove home one evening in his Mercedes Benz. His wife, who worked as a nurse in downtown London, was already home. Her small Jaguar car was often more maneuverable in London’s heavy traffic than most other cars. After a meal which included New Zealand lamb, California carrots, Mexican honey, French cheese and Spanish wine, they settled down to watch a program on their TV set. The program was a retrospective celebration of the war to recapture the Falkland Islands. As they watched it, they felt warmly patriotic, and very proud to be British. Does that resonate with you as you as you celebrate this Easter? Jesus won the war on our behalf. He was crucified, died, and on the third day resurrected. Together with Him, we are heavenly citizens!!
