Happy Easter everyone!!! He is risen!!! Not only is this a day to remember our risen savior, it is also the 13th anniversary of me and Carolines first date. Although that pales in comparison to the sacrifice Jesus made for us it still marks the beginning of a new time in my life. It was the first time I saw that there are people on this earth who love unconditionally like our Savior. I was at a point where I didnt have faith in anyone and my faith in the Lord was dwindling. This awesome woman came along and showed me that kind of love, that love that some people only ever feel from a parent or sibling, and some never feel at all. We spent that awesome day just talking and talking, and pretty much laid the stories of our lives out right then and there (problems and all). Im sure both of us thought that the other was gonna take off running after the date but that didnt happen. We continued to see each other and get to know each other more and more every day and I was just amazed at how this woman could know all my faults and shortcomings and still want to hang out with me. Well that was 13 years ago and I have to say I would not be the man I am today without this wonderful woman by my side. Some people dont realize how powerful real, unconditional, agape love is. Some people have never felt that kind of love and are on the brink of destruction because of it. We need to all be more loving of one another, we need to be willing to sacrifice ourselves for anyone (period) even that guy you dont like, the Lord died for him too. Your kind words or gestures just may save someones life or more importantly their soul. I know, through this little Latina woman of mine the Lord renewed my faith in humanity and in Him. Thank you Lord and thank you Carolina for 13 years of pure awesomeness, I love you so much!!!
