Happy Endings - 12/17/2014 What a great update on two of our pie kittens, Apple and Blueberry (now Tessie and Annie), and arent these pictures just the cutest. Hi Patrick, You helped me with my adoption of Apple (tiger half-white on front legs – now Tessie) and Blueberry (gray tiger – now Annie) back in October. I wanted to write and give you an update on “the girls”. Annie and Tessie both settled in very quickly and are such a joy to have around. They’re now comfortable having the run of the house and of course have their share of mischief. It’s fun to watch their discoveries and so far they have nicely left most breakable items intact! Annie has been a purr engine from the start. Yes, she’s quite the independent lady but so sweet and loving. Tessie took a bit longer to place her trust in me but she’s now a cuddly loving purr engine too. They spend much time together playing and sleeping in their basket – especially with the colder weather. The vet checked them out and found them in good health. We went through a round of drontal treatment to treat roundworm but otherwise all was good. Their last distemper shot is coming up soon. A month ago they weighed just over 3 pounds each at the vet. They have since grown in leaps and bounds. For a bit, I thought I was feeding football players! I’m looking forward to finding out how their weight has changed next week. I have attached a few pics to pass around to everyone. Many thanks to you and all who gave Annie and Tessie such wonderful care. I love them dearly and am so glad they were rescued and became a part of my life. Did their sister and brother find their forever home? I do hope they are bringing as much love to other families. Many best wishes to all for a wonderful holiday, Diane
