Happy FIVE weeks Post Op to me…. I went to see my amazing pulmonary team today who really are incredibly kind to me. I love them so much and it was so much fun for me to be able to show them how well I am doing!! Thank you Lord. They are incredible doctors, nurses and office staff that have worked with me for years trying to do their very best by me to keep me going and they listen to me talk NON STOP.. :) . I swear I wanted to walk in with orange juice and champaign to celebrate with them but thought that might not work out so well for the rest of the patients they had to see that day, so I withheld. Truly when you have doctors, nurses, RTs and medical staff, who care, you need to treasure them. I also spoke with Boston today and I wanted to jump through the phone and hug them, I cant thank them enough, They were just calling to check on me and answer some questions… I told them how I have been living my life and loving it and how grateful I am, so, so grateful. I also have been released to stop wearing the bandaid on my neck, I still look like I have a babies belly button on my neck but you know what? These are my battle scars, these speak of the goodness of God and the love and support I have had in my life…. It will continue to heal and close up more… YAY for five weeks. I cant wait for the next five weeks.
