Happy Fathers Day to my beautiful Grandfather who is celebrating this one up in Heaven. I still remember after my parents got divorced and I asked you if I could take your last name. You said that it would make you so proud if I became, a Friend. A name that I am so privileged to have. I had hoped that in the absence of my father that you would have been able to walk me down the aisle. Or wheel me down the aisle in your chair. Unfortunately, time was not on our side, but you will have the best seat in the house up there watching every precious moment. I love you so much and I miss you dearly!! My Gramps. My father. My friend. My hero.
