Happy Friday Mississippi! Im starting to sound like a broken record. Plenty of sunshine, temperatures continuing to warm, low humidity... its another gorgeous day across the Magnolia State! Well see high temperatures this afternoon back into the low to mid-70s with dew points in the low-mid 40s (pleasant/comfortable). Temperatures will be even warmer both Saturday and Sunday with highs in the upper 70s for the first half and low to mid-80s by the second half of the weekend. Well see sunny skies persist through the middle of next week until our next chance of rain, the first opportunity for the month of May, next Thursday and Friday. Each day, well see a very slight opportunity for a shower or storm, but most areas will remain high and dry. The only downside to the lack of rainfall are rising allergy levels. Right now, tree pollen is at a moderate level while the grass, weeds and mold levels are on the low end. With no storms or rain to push/wash the allergens out of the air, expect those levels to rise as we head into next week. If youre not an allergy sufferer, youre in good shape!
