Happy Friday Sewing Friends! I went out to the pumpkin patch last night and picked the first of the pumpkins that are ready. I also went to the corn patch and gathered up the dried stalks. I dont know how they knew, but the stupid raccoon got the cobs of sweet corn the day they were ready! Im going to take the pumpkin and cornstalks and decorate the front porch area. My new Foley food mill arrived earlier this week. So, in addition to doing some personal embroidery and sewing, Im going to prep and freeze some pumpkin puree, and perhaps see if there are enough grapes to pick to do a batch of jelly.
