Happy Friday to everyone!! It has been a busy one. Lots of new inventory is coming into North Fork Anglers now. The new R.L. Winston Nexus fly rods are now in stock and those casting them have been taking them home. Yes!! The new Orvis Recon and Clearwater II fly rods have also been a hit with customers. Both fly rods are under $500 (Clearwater II - $198-$225) which is probably why they arent on the rod rack very long. We also have a new shipment of the Orvis Trout Bum jackets and vests that just arrived Friday. Stylish, warm and functional describes the latest fly fishing wear from The Orvis Company. Priced to sell, you need to try either item. Less bulk under your waders means you can wade deeper and cast further! You will like that. Saturdays regularly scheduled fly tying classes begin at 9 am and go until noon. Last weeks fly tying class learned how to tie a really cool - and deadly - golden stonefly nymph from shop tyer, Steve Rickert. Tomorrows classes will be divided into those that want to learn to tie streamers or how to more effectively use dubbing materials. You are guaranteed a great time, plus you will leave the class with some fly patterns that are effective all over NW Wyoming, MT, ID and CO. Such a deal, eh? Last but most important: The temperatures are going to leap into the low 50s this Saturday. Blue winged olives are now emerging mid-afternoon. Tie some flies then go fish. Winter fly fishing. I like it!!
