Happy Gandhi Jayanti; so much for Ahimsa (non-violence)! Womans head bashed in racial attack on train Extremism= bullying. Extremists exist in all population subgroups. They are those who use religion, faith and belief as an excuse to harm others. Uninformed and ignorant (funnily enough), these people assume that offending those who believe differently is the solution. Stereotyping the Islamic community and abusing a Muslim woman is displaying extremism in itself, and is unjustified. Any person of a certain background, or following a particular faith should not be judged for just that. We are all INDIVIDUALS. The very fact that this is happening right here, where we live, is scary. To think that maybe one day, our lives may be put in danger simply because of our race or religion, is an irrational sense of insecurity we are growing. Immensely infuriating.
