Happy Halloween (this is a great time to find out about the factual history behind All Hallows Eve as well as exercise every single bit of your defensive driving skills to watch out for all the various ghouls, goblins and under-aged things that go bump in the night as they trick or treat), National Caramel Apple Day (a great day to bite into one of these awesomely tasty and good for your teeth as far as you know treats), National Knock Knock Joke Day (you knew there had to be a day for this eventually), National Breadstick Day (before you make a beeline to Olive Garden do know there are some great easy to make recipes online for this), National Frankenstein Day (a day devoted to Mary Shelleys classic book character and my old Algebra teacher in college-BAM!!! ;-)), Girl Scout Founders Day (on this day in 1860 Juliette Gordon Low started Girl Scouts of the USA with the help of Sir Robert Baden-Powell the founder of the Boy Scouts), International Bandana Day (a great day to rationalizing wearing that really colorful bandana youve been hiding and buy an Indian motorcycle to go with it. See how easy that was? ;-)) and Magic Day (begun in honor of Harry Houdini who died on this day in 1926 from peritonitis resultant from a ruptured appendix at the tender age of 52 in Detroits Grace Hospital)! :-) Slurp up the caramel/apple goodness, eat a breadstick, knock knock joke your coworkers into submission, thank a Girl Scout, with that bandana fitted tightly jump on that bike, make the magic happen whilst keeping a careful eye out for the ghosts, man made monsters, tiny ghouls and make it a great FRIDAY!!! :-)
