Happy Holidays to all! May the new year bring health, happiness and prosperity as my wonderful mother Marie would always say! Marcia and I have been up to our usual--every December and June we go to our doctors in NY so we can live another year to work our beloved video store, probably the last one in existence! and as per our usual this year the dermatologist found another spot on my nose, biopsied it and I need another mohs surgery. Marcia had a few spots frozen off her nose, and had to use a cancer cream which made her nose red, so I had my own rudolph, the human. Other than that, all is well! Nothing to complain about. The tree at Rockefeller Center was magnificent. St. Patricks, on the inside, is still enveloped in scaffolding, so its difficult to find the saints you need to pray to, but the Virgin Mary chapel is open, St. Jude, St. Joseph, and St. Anthony are still available. St. Andrew has disappeared and St. Theresa of Lisieux is very difficult to locate. Our internist was on vacation over the holidays, so now we have to see him, go over blood work and bone density tests, and then we can return to N.C. Betty Davis was correct aging is not for sissies. Hopefully, that was not politically incorrect. All we can do is pray and persevere. May we all have a blessed year! Carla
