Happy Independence Day !!!!! Heres a monologue of personified Indian National Flag **************************** After decades of slavery when I got independent , With tears in my eyes , I felt convalescent . If the soldiers would not have sacrificed their dreams , Our whole country would have been blood filled streams . Whenever I am hoisted , I feel so proud , That sometimes I feel , I may touch the cloud . Let me remind what the three colours mean , Greenery and agriculture is the message of the green . And the white band in the middle tells that peace , Truth and honesty should be our masterpiece . And the saffron at the top wants us to be brave , Which warns the enemies to construct their grave . The wheel at the centre wants us to proceed , Only these emblems will help us succeed . I am grateful to those who fought for my nation , And want that all should have same ambition .
