Happy Independence Day! It will be another great day with lots of sunshine, but a few storms may pop up here and there. Nothing severe and they shouldn’t last long. Highs will be a little higher than yesterday as southerly winds take over at 5-10 mph. Temps will climb into the low to mid 80s this afternoon. Summertime returns by the weekend with dewpoints climbing back into the 60s by tomorrow. Highs will be in the low to mid 80s again, but it will feel hotter with those higher dewpoints. The most humid air will move in on Sunday as depwpoints climb into the upper 60s to the mid 70s and pretty much stay there for the first half (at least) of next week. We will get back into the active weather pattern, too, with a chance of storms on Sunday through Wednesday with the best chances Monday and Tuesday. Highs will be in the mid to upper 80s with lows in the upper 60s to low 70s for most of next week.
