Happy Independence Day eve. I received an advertisement for discounted Independence Day cards. Have you ever sent or received an Independence Day card? I know that I haven’t. No wonder they were able to offer them to me at such an attractive price. For lunch today we are starting with Smoked Turkey & Lentil Soup. Our specials are: a Grilled Cheese Sandwich, Spaghetti & Meatballs with Tomato Sauce or a Grilled Salisbury Steak with Onion Sauce. The desserts are White Cake or Strawberry Pudding. See you on Fort Street, P.S. If you don’t get here soon I may eat all of the soup. It is that good.
