Happy Kidney Day to my dad, Rick ! Its been eight years since his personal kidney angel, Tanya, donated her kidney, giving him new life and precious time with us. Cant express the thanks enough to her. But hes not the only person who has ever needed a gift of life. One in a million, more like. He just got very lucky and had an early donation in his battle. There are so many more that need donated kidneys and various other tissues and organs, like Bambi , who is fighting through dialysis, waiting for her own angel. For the friends in TN she is in the Vandy medical network. Please consider being a living donor in some way and touch a life like no one else.
